Trip Packages

Day trips: (1-6 days) Choose a combination of waters to explore.
We normally pick up your party in Lethbridge. Other pickups are easily arranged to simplify your travel and fishing plans. One variation might be a South Eastern Calgary pickup to fish the beautiful Bow River, either the first or last day of your trip.

All Inclusive: (2 day, 2 person minimum) Like to be pampered? Treat your self to our All Inclusive Package. Once you’re here we take of the rest. It’s hassle free; you don’t have to worry about anything. We’ll pick you up at the airport in Lethbridge and take you to the lodge where you will be able to relax enjoy your selves. Lodging, meals, and transportation to and from your fishing areas are all provided. A great way to unwind!

Below is a general equipment list. Please be aware that weather in Alberta can change dramatically within an hour or two. We will try to fish regardless of wind, rain, etc. A lot of great fishing is had during a good rain.  Being prepared will make your trip much more enjoyable. You may wish to check the long range forecast before your departure by clicking on the "Check The Forcast" link at the top of each page.

Equipment List

  • Camera & lots of memory/recharger
  • 2 rods (1 is a spare just in case) a 5 or 6 wt. is recommended, a 4 wt. is always fun on our mountain waters.
  • Reel w floating line (sink-tip rarely used, occasionally with streamers)
  • Extra leader(s) (4X mountain streams, 3X for rivers)
  • Tippets 2X- 6X
  • Waders (I wet wade most of July and Aug. unless it is raining, cold or I am chilly, Our mountain streams are always a bit cool)
  • Neoprene socks if you plan on wet wading
  • Fly vest or pack loaded with all your favourite stuff.
  • Weight selection (up to BB or 3/0 size)
  • Fly floatant
  • Flies (a selection of your favourites and those recommended) (See hatch charts)
  • Sunglasses (polarized)
  • Sunscreen (30+ rating)
  • Lip balm (with a high UV rating)
  • Fishing hat (the lucky one of course)
  • Raincoat (hopefully not needed but ...)
  • Fingerless gloves (rarely used, nice to have if needed)
  • Net (medium to large) We always carry one so you don’t have to if you don’t want to.
  • Medication if required (please advise your guide of any medical conditions prior to your outing)
